ELECTROTHERMAL SOLUTIONS

Manufacturing Program

1.- Tubular sheath
It changes according to the material to be heated and the working temperature. See the attached table with some of the sheath material as well as the different diameter options and tube lengths.

2.- Resistive coil

Resistive wire Nickel and Chromium alloy or other metals. The alloys changes according to the type of application of the heating element. The resistive coil can be made with one, two or three wires.

This element is the heat source.

3.- Granular insulated

Electrocast magnesium oxide with the adequate characteristics to Electricfor’s constructive themal class.

Once the magnesium oxide is compacted by lamination or compression, a good thermal conductivity is achieved as well as the correct dielectric strength.

4.- Seal

It protects the heating element against humidity penetration.
Five type of seals, according to Electricfor’s constructive thermal class.

  • Airtight seal
  • Extra airtight seal
  • Extra airtight high temperature seal.
  • Porous seal
  • Porous high temperature seal
5.- Terminal

In prenickeled steel, stainless steel AISI 303 or steel.
The length of internal terminal determines the cold zone of the heating element.

6.- Connection terminal

Different types of terminal to connect to electricity supply.

7.-  Insulation terminal

Ceramics or thermoplastics wall bushing to ensure the dielectric strength between tubular sheath and terminal.

MANUFACTURING PROGRAM OF ELECTRIC HEATING ELEMENTS

(*) Also in single tube up to 1450mm.

Single tubes heaters of class I. General technical characteristics.
The single tube heaters of class II are used mainly in household appliances such as towel warmers, electric radiators, etc. Those require a higher protection against electric shock than equipment for industrial use.

  • Tube diameter: ø 12mm
  • Tube material: AISI 304 - AISI 316L – ly-800 – ly-825
  • Lengths up to 1590mm.
  • Optionally, TIG brazed nipple of 1/2”- 1”- 1”1/4 in stainless steel and plated steel.
  • Optionally, with security thermostat with automatic reset and thermal security fuses non-resettable.
STANDARDIZED PRODUCTS

Electricfor is aware of market requirements and one of our main objectives is the constant pursuit of the total satisfaction of our costumers. Therefore, it’s vital for us to minimize as much as possible the delivery date of our products. We opt to expand day by day our range of articles so that we can offer immediately real solutions through the technical commercial department in a high percentage of cases.

SPECIAL MANUFACTURES

One of Electricfor’s specialties is to produce any kind of heater elements either from a plane, a sample or make our own designs in response to specific needs.

In these cases the delivery time is:

NORMAL CIRCUIT - 21 working days

URGENT CIRCUIT – 10 working days

HOT CIRCUIT – 4 working days. (Request specifications sheet)

DESIGN CREATION- 2 to 45 working days (depending on the complexity).
