Electricfor has designed and manufactured a battery of electric heating elements special for working in an autoclave. Autoclaves are pressure vessels where different pieces and materials that require exposure to certain levels of pressure and temperatura are processed. They are indispensable at different moments of the production process within a large number of industries.

 Within the different parts that make up any autoclave, its electric elements play a fundamental role, since they heat the air that will be introduced into it to work at a specific controlled temperature. In the case of the electric battery that Electricfor has manufactured for autoclaves, it has been built with a galvanized steel chassis. It is made up of 360 armored heating elements made of aisi321 stainless steel (which has an excellent response against intergranular corrosion) arranged in 5 stages. Its sizes are 1700 x 1700 x 750mm., and it works at a heat output of 1700KW, a pressure of 10bars, an air flow of 20,000m3 / h. and a temperature of 260ºC.

 Autoclaves have multiple applications for different industries: rubber vulcanizing, wood treatment for exterior construction, microbiological elimination in waste treatment, surgical material or food packaging disinfection, glass sheets pressing for increasing its resistance...
