Electricfor presents its electrical heating elements for ATEX applications at Expoquimia 2021 (27/10/2021)

Electricfor has just presented its electrical elements and heating equipment for ATEX applications in a new edition of Expoquimia, the long-awaited international Chemistry event held every three years at the Barcelona Fair.

The 19th edition of this fair, that took place from September 14 to 17, received a total of 15,000 visitors and brought together 377 exhibitors and 654 brands. Among them was Electricfor, which participated to show its latest developments in electrical heating elements as a company within the sector of Technologies and Machinery for the Production Process.

Expoquimia has put the focus this year on the economic reactivation after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Technology transfer, digitization and sustainability marked the agenda of activities and conferences for this edition; an edition in which the optimism of companies in sectors such as Biotechnology, the Pharmaceutical industry or Cosmetics has been evident in the face of the current market projection.

Electricfor took the opportunity to showcase many of its custom designed and manufactured thermoelectric solutions. Among them stood out its specific heating elements for work areas where explosive atmospheres can be generated, that is, equipment under ATEX / IECEx certification designed for sectors not only such as Chemicals, but also for others such as Oil, Gas and Electroplating.

Our solutions for ATEX environment are aimed at meeting in a protected and controlled way any need for thermal increase by means of specialized equipment. These can be, for instance, flow heaters, heating flanges, immersion resistors for water, aggressive liquids, oil, fuel or gas, heated blankets, electric infrared, electric heaters and electric convectors. This way, it is guaranteed, as indicated by Directive 2014/34 / EU, that each electrical resistance and the rest of the devices are not transformed (by electric arc or by surface temperature) into sources of incandescence or combustion.

Electricfor has been evolving through its engineering department for more than one hundred years in the knowledge of new applications of electrical heating elements provided of ATEX, UL and IECex certification. Also in resistant materials such as titanium and design software. For more information, do not hesitate to contact our commercial department.
