Electricfor manufactures an electric heating element battery for heating dirty air from tar vapors (30/01/2020)

Electricfor has just manufactured a 324 KW electric heating element battery for heating dirty air from organic high pitch tar vapors (40,000m3/h). Its components have been designed with stainless steel materials and specific load for optimum performance and durability.

Since in 1917 the founder of Electricfor, Eduardo Forgas, began manufacturing appliances with their respective heating resistors, the way of working of this firm has been governed by three basic ingredients: experience, technology and flexibility. Combining them in the design of thermoelectric application systems in the best possible way, multiple air heating elements have been created, both standard and custom-made. Thus, its heating elements are used in furnaces, ducts and autoclaves, working in static and circulating air environments from low temperatures for air conditioning to high temperatures in ovens and drying applications, as well as in industrial air treatment.

The new 324 KW steel Electricfor battery for heating dirty air from tar vapors has a connection made with nickel-plated copper plates. The arrangement of the separators allows easy replacement of the elements for maintenance. The air input temperature is ambient, while the output temperature 275ēC. The design temperature is 300 °C.
